Electric baseboard heaters are another home heating option to consider. They are easy to install and can be used when needed. The biggest drawback is the cost of electricity from power them. There is so much higher than for natural gas.

Fireplaces, wood stoves, space heaters and kerosene heaters are also available options for heating at home this winter. They can be very inexpensive, but must allow adequate ventilation and caution in dealing with them.
